A finales del mes pasado, en marzo, la fotograf\u00eda de Tob\u00edas, un amante y protector de la naturaleza, comenz\u00f3 a difundirse ampliamente en las redes sociales. Se trataba de una tierna imagen protagonizada por una pareja de ping\u00fcinos<\/strong> que se encontraban de espaldas mirando al horizonte. Mientras que a lo lejos, en la misma direcci\u00f3n se apreciaban algunas luces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la descripci\u00f3n de la publicaci\u00f3n, Tob\u00edas explic\u00f3 la historia detr\u00e1s de la foto<\/strong>, que se trat\u00f3 de una muy conmovedora, de acuerdo a lo que le hab\u00eda contado un voluntario del lugar. Seg\u00fan parece, la pareja estaba conformada por una anciana de la colonia de ping\u00fcinos que hab\u00eda perdido a su pareja hac\u00eda tiempo e igualmente, el macho que la acompa\u00f1aba, hab\u00eda perdido a la suya, por lo que, se juntaban para darse alguna especie de consuelo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During times like this the truly lucky ones are those that can be with the person\/people they love most. I captured this moment about a year ago. These two Fairy penguins poised upon a rock overlooking the Melbourne skyline were standing there for hours, flipper in flipper, watching the sparkling lights of the skyline and ocean. A volunteer approached me and told me that the white one was an elderly lady who had lost her partner and apparently so did the younger male to the left. Since then they meet regularly comforting each other and standing together for hours watching the dancing lights of the nearby city. I spend 3 full nights with this penguin colony until I was able to get this picture. Between not being able or allowed to use any lights and the tiny penguins continuously moving, rubbing their flippers on each other\u2019s backs and cleaning one another, it was really hard to get a shot but i got lucky during one beautiful moment.
