Fotografía de una pareja de pingüinos causa ternura viral

A finales del mes pasado, en marzo, la fotografía de Tobías, un amante y protector de la naturaleza, comenzó a difundirse ampliamente en las redes sociales. Se trataba de una tierna imagen protagonizada por una pareja de pingüinos que se encontraban de espaldas mirando al horizonte. Mientras que a lo lejos, en la misma dirección se apreciaban algunas luces.

En la descripción de la publicación, Tobías explicó la historia detrás de la foto, que se trató de una muy conmovedora, de acuerdo a lo que le había contado un voluntario del lugar. Según parece, la pareja estaba conformada por una anciana de la colonia de pingüinos que había perdido a su pareja hacía tiempo e igualmente, el macho que la acompañaba, había perdido a la suya, por lo que, se juntaban para darse alguna especie de consuelo.

During times like this the truly lucky ones are those that can be with the person/people they love most. I captured this moment about a year ago. These two Fairy penguins poised upon a rock overlooking the Melbourne skyline were standing there for hours, flipper in flipper, watching the sparkling lights of the skyline and ocean. A volunteer approached me and told me that the white one was an elderly lady who had lost her partner and apparently so did the younger male to the left. Since then they meet regularly comforting each other and standing together for hours watching the dancing lights of the nearby city. I spend 3 full nights with this penguin colony until I was able to get this picture. Between not being able or allowed to use any lights and the tiny penguins continuously moving, rubbing their flippers on each other’s backs and cleaning one another, it was really hard to get a shot but i got lucky during one beautiful moment. El hombre además aclaró haber tomado la foto hacía un año aproximadamente en Australia pero que, había decidido compartirla en estos momentos cuando, ‘los más afortunados eran aquellos que tenían a las personas que más aman cerca’

Para lograr lo que Tobías calificó de un hermoso momento, debió pasar tres noches con la colonia de pingüinos y finalmente, lograr las imágenes que no fueron fáciles de conseguir. Ahora la foto se ha hecho viral obteniendo miles de likes y comentarios.

 Más recientemente, el pasado 13 de abril, Tobías ha compartido una segunda pose de los mismos pingüinos, para hablar nuevamente del amor, indicando que estos pingüinos permanecieron juntos mientras los demás estaban corriendo o durmiendo.

Pinguins Part 2. “… Love is the only game in which we win even when we lose” The way that these two lovebirds were caring for one another stood out from the entire colony. While all the other penguins were sleeping or running around, those two seemed to just stand there and enjoy every second they had together, holding each other in their flippers and talking about penguin stuff. Asimismo, señaló que en el caso de estos pingüinos el dolor los había unido y que eso demostraba que a veces, encuentras el amor cuando menos lo esperas. Tobías igualmente destacó que, aun cuando la imagen era similar a la anterior, había creído que era “una pena no compartirla”
